Chris is the owner and operator of Wave Electrical Services, bringing 16 years of hands-on electrical contracting experience to Springfield and the surrounding communities. In 2025, he earned his Missouri Statewide Master Electrical Contractor license — the highest level of electrical licensing in the state — a milestone that represents years of dedication, discipline, and relentless pursuit of doing things the right way.
But this story didn’t start in a classroom.
It started in the field.
Built From The Ground Up
After high school, Chris went to work helping his father in general contracting. He framed houses. Hung drywall. Learned what real craftsmanship looks like. Other tradesmen quickly noticed his work ethic and attention to detail.
One of the electrical contractors working alongside his father offered him an opportunity.
He took it — and never looked back.
Under the mentorship of seasoned professionals like Joe Tinkersly of E-Volt Electric, Chris learned the trade the old-school way: hands-on, shoulder-to-shoulder, problem-solving in real homes with real consequences. He earned his Journeyman license in 2017 and continued sharpening his skills until achieving his Master license in 2025.
